HOMEOWNER EDUCATION MODULES
Each of the modules below may be completed by approved Habitat Tuscaloosa homebuyers as part of sweat equity required hours. To receive credit for the DYI series videos, you must create an account and be signed in to print the certificate at the end of the course. We also encourage existing homeowners to utilize these resources for tips and basic skills needed to maintain your home.
MEDIA TRAINING (required)
Read the information in the media training presentation, then respond to all questions in this survey. This may be scheduled as a group presentation for homebuyers.

HOME MAINTENANCE
(REQUIRED)
These required videos give homebuyers essential guidance on general home maintenance.
By learning how to care for their home through regular, timely upkeep, homeowners can keep systems running smoothly and prevent costly repairs in the future.

CONSTRUCTION
(optional)
These videos provide the opportunity for homebuyers to gain a general understanding of the tools that we use when constructing homes. ​
You can also learn about painting and installation of flooring, doors, and trim.

These videos provide the opportunity for homebuyers and homeowners to learn about general home repairs.
